DESCRIPTION:Constitution Day\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Blair County Bar Association had a successful revival of our annual Constitution Day Contest and Ceremony. Blair County students in kindergarten through 12th Grade participate by submitting posters\, poems\, and essays exploring each year’s theme. In 2025\, students explored the theme\, What does “We the People” mean to you? \nThe Blair County Bar Association joins organizations across the state and country in celebrating Constitution Day. Celebrating Constitution Day gives students an opportunity to learn about the United States and Pennsylvania constitutions through fun and informative learning activities. It makes civic learning inviting and entertaining for students of all ages. \nCONTEST SUBMISSION GUIDELINES \nStudents in kindergarten through 5th grade can submit a poster no larger than 12 inches by 18 inches. Students in 6th grade through 12th grade can submit an essay or poem. Each essay shall be no more than 250 words. Each poem will fit on 8 1/2 by 11 inches paper. No identifying information on the front of any poster\, poem or essay; each student’s name\, grade\, teacher\, and school should be listed on the back for unbiased judging. \nOne winner from each grade will win a gift card and will get to present their work during the Constitution Day Ceremony at the Blair County Courthouse.
